Dear Gauls,

We know it’s been a loooooong time and your patience must have been made out of menhir, but the time has finally come and we’re as happy as Obelix smelling roast boar, to announce the return of the Flower Power Event! And yes, we are aware of the fact that this announcement comes on short notice ;) But better than nothing right?

In order to install the Event, our servers will be offline tomorrow, June 3rd from 9am to approximately 2pm CEST.
For everyone, who needs to refresh their memory or all the players, who don’t know the Flower Power Event yet, we summarized all important infos:

– Roses, tulips, and lilies are dropping now when collecting resources. The drop rate of the flowers has been increased (compared to the previous event)
– Four event recipes can be found in the tailor shop: Flower Bouquet, Grand Bouquet, Present, Wrapped Gift
– One event recipe can be found in the leatherworker shop: Bunch of Tulips
– There is a total of eight event quests, two of them are repeatable every 72h
– Furthermore, you can continue completing your event achievements!
– AND we increased the drop rate of flax for the time of the event.

The event will take place from June 3rd to July 15th.

Dear players of the web version of  Asterix & Friends (via asterix-friends.com),

we have solved the isssue for players playing via Asterix-friends.com who couldn’t access their old village after the maintenance.

Some of these players had accidently created new accounts with their e-mail address in the meantime, so after login they had a new village. Since there may not be two accounts with the same e-mail address in the account system, we had to remove these new villages first. After that, we assigned the e-mail addresses of all accounts affected by the migration issue to their correct, former villages.

If you are one of the players who couldn’t access his/her old village: please do another password reset – we have revised and improved our guide for this, which you can find here: https://www.asterix-friends.com/en/please-reset-your-password/

Entering your new password in the login you should be able to access your old village again.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and will think about a way to compensate the affected players. We are aware, how frustrating it is to not being able to play for a week (at least not with the correct village).

Asterix & Friends currently needs the Adobe Flash Player to run on PC in the browser. Unfortunately more and more browsers are de-activating flash support which makes the activation more complex. You can find the detailed steps how to activate Flash here: https://www.asterix-friends.com/de/adobe-flash.

We are currently working on a version of the game that runs on the Unity engine and therefore does not need Adobe Flash to run. Until it is released you may also try the game inside Facebook Game Room or on iOS and Android devices.

As announced you will not be able to log in with your old password anymore after the maintenance. An error message will be displayed: “Wrong username or password”. Don’t panic! All you need to do is to reset your password.

1. Click on the green “LOGIN” Button on the mainpage (www.asterix-friends.com) to get to the Login Page (www.asterix-friends.com/en/login):

2. Click “Forgot your password?” at the bottom left of the LOGIN box.

3. Enter your email address and click “Recover password”.

4. Check your mail inbox and in the password recovery email click “Recover password”.

Please make sure to also check the spam folder of your mail provider. If you use an e-mail program like Outlook or Thunderbird, it might not retrieve mails from the spam folder, depending on your settings. In this case, please also check the spam folder of your e-mail inbox in your browser on the website of your mail provider. 

This button in the e-mail you receive opens the page in your browser to set your new password.

5. Enter your new password and click “Set New Password”.

Enter your new password in the “Password” and “Confirm Password” field.

6. Go back to the login page (www.asterix-friends.com/en/login) and log in with your email address and your new password.

Please note: There is an alternative method to log in. In the main page in the “Registration” box, you can switch the box from registration to login by clicking on “I already have an account”.

The Box will now look just like the Login box on the separate Login Page. Please note though, that the Box will still shows “Registration” at the top border. After that, please continue with Step 2 above.
