We are currently restarting the servers as part of our efforts to resolve the login issues.
You can expect the appearance of new error messages (depending on the platform or browser), e.g. a “syntax error”.
Those will be gone as soon as the reboot process is completed. Therefore, playing should be possible for everyone in two hours at the latest.

we released a new version on the test server!
This version makes it possible for website players (login on asterix-friends.com) to try out the new character Gardenia, the visual building upgrades, and the minigame “Journeys”! You can access the test server via this link: https://www.asterix-friends.com/en/test-server/
Try out the features thoroughly and send us your bug reports via this form: https://forms.gle/dYHoZWsyBAAr4Hmm6 and receive a reward after the release of the Remaster update on all platforms.
Keep in mind that the progress made on the test server doesn’t have any influence on your village on the LIVE servers.
And a small notice regarding the login issue survey: Thank you very much for your participation! We were able to learn a lot about the login issue (and other reported problems) through the results. We hope we can share good news on the issues this week.

Since this Tuesday (September 28th) the following login problem has occurred:
The game fails to load after a “Refresh” with a red exclamation mark being displayed as soon as the loading bar reaches about the middle. In the background, the loading bar then continues to move up to around 90%.
This login problem prevents every player from playing individually for a random period of time and therefore does not affect all players at the same time. In addition, most players can play again during the day.
The developer team is working on a solution to fix the problem as soon as possible and also to help the players who cannot play for other reasons.

Are you ready to learn more about our big new feature, called “Journeys”?
“Journeys” is a new minigame that will be found in the event pop-up next to “Centurion Punch” and “Race through Italy”.
Go on adventures in Corsica, Britain and Hispania and experience new stories that will feature characters of the Asterix comics.
By completing missions along your journey, you gain country currency and build up a reputation in a country, you’ll be able to use for items and beautifications.
The beautifications will make it possible for you to create a magnificent looking, unique village to your likings!
Journeys will arrive in the game along with the visual building upgrades and the female villager Gardenia in the “Remaster update”. Soon, we will let you know in a separate post when the beta tests for the Remaster update will start.
And one news regarding the troublesome login issues:
The big measure we talked about in our last post is carried! We are optimistic that the measure will prevent login issues of a similar extent to happen again in the future.
Now, our developers are fully concentrating on the creation of solutions to reduce/prevent “refresh errors”, performance issues and crashes. We are very grateful for the helpful feedback we receive from the A&F community. Your reports will be taken into account in the bug fixing process to make sure to fix the bugs first that are most important to the players.
