Asterix & Friends Remastered – update out now!

Dear Gauls!

Asterix & Friends Remastered is now available for playing on the LIVE servers!

In Asterix & Friends Remastered, you can look forward to …
X our lovable, new villager Gardenia and around 60 new, rewarding quests!
X visual building upgrades, which add great details to your buildings at certain levels!
X the minigame “Journeys” and the special rewards such as new weapons and beautifications that can be earned!

Important for Android and iOS players: Since new game content was added, this update is mandatory. Therefore, you need to update the app to be able to play.

After this big update, we won’t stop working on Asterix & Friends! We’ll fix the remaining bugs and issues, and we’re also planning to bring events back soon!

Our servers are now back online! Thank you for your patience!
Please note that the new game content is still locked in this version of the game and will then be unlocked in the next maintenance after further adjustments.
Web players should delete the cache, in the case they encounter a loading issue after the maintenance:
In many browsers, the keyboard shortcut to delete browser save data is pressing Control (Ctrl) + Shift + Del (Delete) simultaneously.
This should open a window in which some options have already been selected.
However, only “Cached files and images” and “Cookies and other website data” have to be checked. Make sure to choose “All time” as the time range! Then click on “Delete data”.
Note that the actual names may be worded differently in your browser.

Update: End of maintenance

Our servers are back online! Thank you for your patience!

The update fixed the refresh problems that were previously caused by extra drops.
Refresh problems can still appear for other reasons, but overall refresh problems should now occur much less frequently.
Web players (e.g. on the A&F website or Facebook) can start the game as usual and automatically play the new version of the game. Mobile players have to download the update from the respective app store.
Again, due to the time it takes to submit an update, the update for iOS will be made available for download later.

Our developers are now heavily focused on the preparation of the remaster update so that Gardenia and the other new features can be introduced into the game in a little while.
However, bugs will continue to be fixed according to priority, such as the extreme start zoom, the broken logout button and problems that prevent chatting.
We will also take care of the adjustments to the graphics and Centurion Punch requested by the community as soon as possible.

End of maintenance – New update

Dear Gauls!

As explained in the last announcement, the cause of the massive refresh problems is not our changes made by the hotfix, but a longer-standing problem, which has been greatly exacerbated by the changes.
In order to reduce the refresh issues by undoing some of the hotfix changes, we had to execute unannounced maintenance and release a new version.
Web players (e.g. on the A&F website or Facebook) can launch the game as usual and automatically play the new version of the game.
Again, due to the time it takes to send an update, the update for iOS and Android will be made available for download later.
While refresh issues will continue to occur, the changes made in the hotfix have also allowed us to find out when and what causes desync between the game and the servers.
This brings our developers very close to a permanent solution for the majority of all refresh problems, which we will deploy as soon as possible. In order to avoid problems caused by the extra drops until then, we recommend not processing the extra drops received directly in the next production.
We thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience caused. All players will receive compensation via an in-game message.
