As explained in the last announcement, the cause of the massive refresh problems is not our changes made by the hotfix, but a longer-standing problem, which has been greatly exacerbated by the changes.
In order to reduce the refresh issues by undoing some of the hotfix changes, we had to execute unannounced maintenance and release a new version.
Web players (e.g. on the A&F website or Facebook) can launch the game as usual and automatically play the new version of the game.
Again, due to the time it takes to send an update, the update for iOS and Android will be made available for download later.
While refresh issues will continue to occur, the changes made in the hotfix have also allowed us to find out when and what causes desync between the game and the servers.
This brings our developers very close to a permanent solution for the majority of all refresh problems, which we will deploy as soon as possible. In order to avoid problems caused by the extra drops until then, we recommend not processing the extra drops received directly in the next production.
We thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience caused. All players will receive compensation via an in-game message.
