Update 34

Functions

  • Safe trade feature: trading no longer costs 1 Roman Helmet, but 10 sesterces by proposition.

Changes

  • Higher tournament rewards (which you will already get at the end of the current tournament)
  • Crafted objects can no longer be duplicated on the ring.
  • New quests has been activated.
  • The repetable quest series that help Asterix get ready ro fight has been activated.
  • A new ring weapon has been implemented: the paddle.

Bugfixes

  • The “Medium potion of blocking” and the “Medium potion of critical hit” are working again.


Summer Event

Summer vacation? Not in Asterix & Friends! New quests, new achievements, gift codes and awesome constest are waiting for you!

Everything will start on Monday 06 July, 2:30 pm (CEST)! In order for us to prepare this event, the Asterix & Friends servers will be offline from 10:30 am (CEST). The event will be running until the 31 of August.

Features

  • Safe trade feature – It is now possible to safely trade with other players. The items will be traded automatically when both players agree to trade conditions.

Content

  • added an effect to the cauldron in the Druid Circle in Gaul which is displayed when potions are being crafted or ready to be picked up
  • changed the name of some potions (the effects of the potions were not affected)
  • added 3 new potions: Medium potion of Blocking, Medium potion of Critical Hit and Medium potion of First Strike
  • added 1 additional level for each villager (except the druid)
  • added 80 additional inventory pages, bringing the new maximum to 150 pages
  • added PvP potions and items to the statistics menu

Tweaks

  • various bugfixes and text changes


The great Sproing anniversary

Hello Gauls!

Big festivities are about to take place! Next week, it will have been a year since Sproing was entrusted with Asterix & Friends. We would like to celebrate with you and thank you all for your loyalty!

Banner - Jubiläum ENDuring Anniversary Week, from May 25th to May 31st, you will be able to redeem a gift code every day and score some fancy items! Codes will be posted daily on our Facebook page and in our forum.

That’s not all! We are also organizing a nice event for the occasion: The Great Feast ! From May 27th, 12:00 PM to June 1st, 10:30 AM (CEST), hunting, fishing and harvesting Egyptian fields will give you twice as much food, AND, these food sources will regenerate twice as fast!

Update 31 – 27/01/2015

Hello Asterix & Friends community!

Next Tuesday (27/01/2015) we will release Update 31. Therefore, the game will not be available from 10:30 to 13:30 (Central European Time).

Content of Update 31

Winter is over, spring has come
The snow has melted and the Gaulish fields are green again!

New Resistance bar
With the new resistance bar you can now see when a new roman legion will appear near your village. In addition, you can now see exactly how many resistance points you need to reach the next resistance level.

Beautification of Friends Map
The friends map has been revised with a nicer background and new village symbols.

Village brawl: changes to the rewards and duration of the tournament
The duration of the village brawl tournament will be reduced to 1 month. In addition, the tournament rewards have been increased and expanded. This also applies to the guild tournament.

Village brawl potion event
With Update 31 there will be a brawl potion event. When you win a fight against patrols or legions you might get lucky and receive some village brawl potions. The event will run until Update 32. You can find more details on our events forum .

Village brawl rankings: Changes to the reduction of points
Adjustments have been made to the reduction of points at the end of a tournament. Players will not be lose as many points as was originally announced. A detailed list of how the new point reduction system will work will be provided with the upcoming patch notes.
