starting from today, 16.06.2021, Android players can enter the “open beta program” for the new Android version.
Testers will be able to play on the LIVE server and progress with their village as usual.

For this, players have to open “Asterix & Friends” in the Google Play store. Then they have to scroll down and find “Register for the beta program”. After clicking “Participate”, wait approx. 15 minutes. Then the title on the A&F store page will change to “Asterix & Friends (Beta program)” and the game can be updated. Since installing the old version again causes the game to start with a new village, we suggest that only players who connected their village with Facebook Connect should take part.

Encountered bugs and other feedback can be reported via this form: https://forms.gle/M3sQpF4uVKBCT6sp7, you can also find the link on our website.

Testers who report at least once via the form will receive a gift after we completed the testing process.

To get the old version back: leave the beta in the Play Store, uninstall the game there, wait ca. 15 min until the “(BETA)” in the title is gone and after that, install the game again.

We were able to find and resolve the cause of the chat issue for Android and iOS players so that the chat can be used again.
The guild chat might not work for everyone, but our developers are already looking into it.

We are still checking if the incompatibility of the launcher with the new server code can be fixed quickly without many resources.
Thank you for your patience and your understanding that we can’t revert the changes since they are necessary for the further development of the unity version on all platforms.
Instead, we want to provide you a better web/FB version that has all issues fixed as soon as possible, so the launcher won’t be missed.
We apologize for the inconvenience and send you compensation via an in-game message.

we are aware that the Asterix & Friends (Xsolla) launcher stopped working after our preparations of the new save system.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to resolve the issue anytime soon. Therefore, please play via asterix-friends.com until we announce an update of the launcher that will provide a fix.
