To celebrate the release of Asterix & Friends Remastered, we would like to introduce the new features in separate posts!
This time, we will showcase visual building upgrades!

With the visual building upgrades, our goal was to make building upgrades more rewarding by visualizing your progress of rebuilding the village and adding more details to the plainly designed buildings.

The visual building upgrades are an additional feature to the classic building upgrades. Therefore, they should be understood as additional, cosmetic benefits to the already existing bonuses which the upgrading of buildings already granted before the Remaster.

You gain visual improvements for each upgradeable building on certain levels. Almost all residential buildings get a visual upgrade at building level 4, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23 except the druid’s house, which gets an update with every building level. Something we haven’t revealed yet: Numerobis’ tent also gets visual building upgrades, but at levels 1, 3, 5 and 7!
All other upgradable buildings, including the various storage buildings, gain visual building upgrades at levels 5, 10 and 15!
