Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Developer Sproing have announced the release of the mobile version of „Asterix & Friends“ today. The game will initially soft-launch in Canada, Austria and Switzerland on both iOS and Android platforms, with the global release expected later in the year.

Finally being able to defend your village from everywhere and teach the Romans a lesson several times a day – who wouldn’t like that? It’s also nice that we could include our home country Austria in the soft-launch alongside Canada and Switzerland. We are looking forward to the user feedback and expect the game to be received very well.” said Harald Riegler, CEO of Sproing.

The mobile version features all the huge content of the web version and later in the year, players will be able to cross-play between Facebook and mobile.

The game Asterix and Friends, developed by Sproing, is currently accessible by through a browser on the website https://apps.facebook.com/asterix-and-friends/ and is available in 4 languages: French, English, German and Spanish.

This will also affect messages from the Asterix & Friends team, which so far are not being deleted automatically, such as legion and tournament reward messages. The only messages, which will not be deleted automatically after 30 days, will be gift code messages and messages you recieve after purchasing certain special offers. Moreover the overall limit for saved messages is 3000 (inbox + outbox).
Please remember: Your inbox is NOT your inventory. If you store items in your inbox you are acting on your own risk. If you lose items due to the automatic deletion of messages we will not compensate anything.
